Piura, 5 de junio de 2020.- La Superintendencia Nacional de Servicios de Saneamiento (Sunass) verificó los trabajos que realiza la EPS Grau para la reparación de la cámara de bombeo El Cortijo y el funcionamiento de los pozos San Bernardo, Grau, Divino Niño, Cortijo y Miraflores, tras la restricción del servicio de agua potable en varias zonas del distrito de Castilla a consecuencia de problemas en la bomba sumergible de la estación de bombeo, lo cual provocó el desborde de aguas residuales y el corte del servicio.
La Sunass, en el marco de sus funciones, también verificó que se brinde el abastecimiento alternativo del servicio de agua potable por parte de la EPS Grau, a través de los camiones cisterna, para abastecer los sectores: Cercado de Castilla, A. H. Talarita, urb. Miraflores, urb. El Bosque, A. H. María Goretti, APV 15 de Setiembre, A. H. Víctor Raúl, C.C. Open Plaza, Miraflores Country Club, Hospital Cayetano Heredia, A. H. Campo Polo, A. H. 28 de Julio, A. H. Las Montero, A. H. Miguel Cortés, P. J. El Indio (zonas bajas), A. H. Juan Pablo II y A. H. Calixto Balarezo.
De igual forma, se constató el retiro de las aguas residuales en las calles Cusco, Callao, Cahuide y en el A.H. Independencia.
“Estamos monitoreando constantemente las zonas afectadas por la restricción y que la EPS Grau cumpla con restablecer de manera normal el servicio de agua potable; además de que se hagan las acciones de limpieza y desinfección en las viviendas que fueron afectadas por los desbordes de aguas residuales”, informó Irina Palomino Távara, responsable de la oficina desconcentrada de la Sunass en Piura.
Es preciso señalar que, según la EPS Grau, se está restableciendo el servicio de manera gradual en algunas zonas, por lo que la Sunass recomienda a los vecinos afectados por el corte tomar medidas preventivas, como asegurarse que el almacenamiento del agua potable se haga en recipientes limpios con tapa, usar responsablemente el recurso y, al momento de la reposición del servicio, dejar las llaves internas abiertas por algunos minutos, ya que el agua podría presentar ligera turbiedad.
